Visual Studio 2012 Cannot connect to sharepoint 2013

Error and possible resolutions

If you installed Visual Studio 2012 and updated VS2012 to latest version : and Your unable to connect to SharePoint 2013 installed on the computer.  Following the instructions can resolve the issue

Possible Errors messages displayed

SharePoint Server not installed.

1. Download officetools_bundle from this direct link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=279063&clcid=0x409
2. Run the setup and allow it to complete.
3. Open visual studio 2012 and enjoy developing apps for SP 2013.
